one; how it all began.
Jan. 11th, 2012 09:58 pmUPDATE: PLEASE READ
Currently I use DW exclusively for RP purposes. At the moment, I am currently not RPing (due to NaNo) so my time on DW is limited and often in passing. If you would like me to send you points please leave me a comment before sending any money. I will respond if I'm able to do the transfer for you.
Right now I am very busy and would hate to receive a payment I didn't notice or forgot about, only to lose someone else's money due to automatic billing that comes out of my Paypal account.
I really appreciate that a number of you guys trust me enough to send the money over in advance and leave a comment, but with how busy I am right now with work, the holidays and NaNo, it is ill advised.
This update will be removed when I return to RPing in the next month or two, and will be accessing DW more often.
Thank you for your understanding.
this post was made for people to help each other out.
When this post was made, I did not have the money to help people with donations, myself. Looking through pages for something I could help with, I noticed a number of 'donatees' that were simply looking for a way to get paid time who had the money. The only problem was that they only had Paypal, and as a lot of us know - Dreamwidth does not accept Paypal.
For a full explanation as to why that is check out this post.
At this point I realized there was something that I could do to help. I have a Paypal account, but I also have debit and credit cards that can be used with Dreamwidth. I took the risk and offered my services to some people within the post, I would send DW points to whichever account they wished, as long as I was reimbursed.
After awhile the list began to get big enough that I started to get nervous. The orders of $100 were not so uncommon, and I couldn't keep sending people $100 worth of DW points without getting some money back (especially with no guarantee of getting any money back.) Because of this, and how surprisingly popular this is becoming, I've had to change the rules a bit.
Here's the deal. If you'd like to arrange something and we need to share some information that you might not like out in public - comment here. Everything will be screened.
To clarify who you are, I'd appreciate it if you comment with the following information:
Journal Name. (The account you want the points transferred to)
Please comment here with that journal
Amount Transferred. (If your order is not USD, an estimated conversion would help.)
Paypal E-mail. (The e-mail address I should be expecting your transfer from.)
All comments to the entry are screened! When you comment, I will respond with the Paypal e-mail you should send the funds to.

Payments over $6.00 (USD) are now required to pay in advance.
Anyone that pays in advance has priority payments, as I don't have to juggle my own finances to make their payment for them - and I don't have to trust that I'll eventually see the money I already put forward.
Thanks for your understanding ♥
Favors and donations in thanks for doing this are appreciated, but not necessary!
The one thing I do ask - please, please tell your friends! Let people know about this. Get the word out there, I want to be able to help people by doing these transfers for them. I want to be able to help Dreamwidth for being a great site, by getting them paid accounts from a userbase that wants to pay.
I list accounts above as a means of showing 'references', people that I have done this for who can vouch for it being done. Their points transferred in full for the amount that they paid. If you would like your account to not be listed publicly, please comment after reading this entry asking I not include you. I will keep a private record of your information for my eyes only.
